Dear Believer,

HE’S THERE REGARDLESS

I’ve learnt that at many times, the goosebumps, the shivers that rush down my spine, the gentle breeze that slaps across my face at intervals, the continuous electrifying tickles of the heart I feel; will be absent sometimes.

Recently, I realized all of that had been missing for a while now; there’s been no pangs of excitement, heaviness;

Nothing at all.

At first, I thought I had lost track somewhere; I mean, it’s been a long while since I felt like this and I was scared

“Did I miss it somewhere?”

“When and how exactly did I miss it?”

“Why don’t I understand a bit of what’s going on within and around me?”

“Why does everything seem as though it’s been paused and I’m the only one moving?”

These were the questions that kept running through my mind and as always, The Holy Spirit came through - He brought to my knowledge how that I haven’t been missing anything but the understanding that the drive doesn’t always have to be the feelings within us, the things we see or the happenings around us.

I’ve had to study scriptures, I’ve had to pray and stay in His presence not because I felt but because I KNOW He’s there.

The Holy Spirit made me understand our experience with God, our walk with Him is not based on feeling but in knowing and so, times like this are moments when we walk by Faith in that which we know; the truth the Word of God has revealed HE IS ALWAYS THERE!

So, I study because although I don’t feel it, He is there to breath on His word that I take in,

I pray because although I don’t feel it, The Holy Spirit prays through me.

I go about my activities daily not because everything is working the way I feel it should or the way I want but because I know He is there and it all works for my good and

I Stay in His presence not because I feel or see a thing but because I am there in His name and He is there regardless!

I understand better that things don’t actually have to look or feel like it ;We live in doubt of His presence when we expect everything to look it!

Don’t wait for that feeling, WORSHIP ANYWAY!

Don’t wait for that nudge,STUDY AND PRAY ANYWAY!

Your love drives you to hold on to faith and faith is knowing He is there at all times.

I learnt that at the time when there’s no feeling or sight to push you to worship, there true faith lies and acting on even the tiniest bit of faith available, is elevation.

Breath,

He is there!

Know it and Live it!
